That is why all our close protection officers/bodyguards have a vast amount of experience and knowledge ready for the assignment you require. With a good close protection officer they will 99% of the time, spot a situation arising before it happens and be able to deal with any given problem before it arises.
Close Protection (CP) can be a team of any number of men or woman or a single person. A bodyguard (Close Protection officer) is someone who must be able establish a good working rapport with his/her VIP and his/her husband/wife (if applicable). A good bodyguard/Close Protection Officer will be able to blend into the background (business and social), of any scenario the BG (BodyGuard) encounters with his/her principle, like a chameleon. A good professional BG (BodyGuard) must be someone for every occasion.A good team for any high risk situations should ideally be made up of 5 categories:
TL - Team Leader
PES - Personal Escort Section
SAP - Security Advance Party
The first consideration that we usually make is how many Close Protection Operatives are needed and what sort of equipment that will be required. These are usually defined by:
The level and nature of threat
The importance of the VIP
The VIP lifestyle and circumstances
The political acceptability of a bodyguard/Close Protection Operative
Resources available- manpower, materials and finances available
Our role at 24/7 Close Protection Ltd as a Close Protection Officer (CPO) company is to protect our principle against any, and all of the following:
1. Intentional Attacks
Organized assault, terrorist or criminal kidnapping, criminal threats or just random attacks.
2. Unintentional Attacks
Vehicle incidents, random accidents, medical emergencies.
3. Embarrassing Situations
Public situations, corporate situations, family life, private life, media control, family matters etc.
4. Management Convenience
Any variation of our Close Protection Team will always ensure the smooth running of protection for any of our Clients visits or occasions in which their principle is evolved. A good Close Protection plan and course of action for any kind of scenario will always be made in advance and discussed with the VIP. Which will enable us to make our VIP’s protection run smoothly which has had the best opportunity for security so as not to compromise it.
Low Level Protection
On some occasions, like protective escorts/bodyguard might only need a one man/woman close protection operative for the following reasons:
The threat is not clearly defined.
The threat is a very Low priority.
The Threat is against an organization rather than an individual.
The threat is reduced to a low/minor level
